Margaret Olsgard: Peggy
Jan Lee: Susan
Julie Ahasay: Irene
Q: Out of a choice of nine solo  pieces, you chose A Woman of No Importance. Why ?
Q:  You recently played Susan in the production, which you also di rected, of Talking  Heads at Stage North. What enticed you to reprise the role?
Q: You played Shirley Valentine for Theatre in the Woods and have looked in depth at monologue theatre. What draws you to the solo genre?
A: In Miss Schofeld I saw the  heroic choice to rise above the absurdity of an arguably ig nominious life, a choice I have seen made by so many women close to me. I felt I had to put her on stage as a tribute to this unappreciated form of courage
A: There aren't many scripts out there so brilliantly written that the characters come to life. I really just love this character of Susan ...she's so devastatingly funny and sad at the same time.
A: The challenge comes from so much being stripped away when you are alone on the stage. What remains is a character who speaks directly to the audience, free of most theatrical artifice and usually stripped of any pretensions as well. There is nothing to hide.
